The archetypes of Russian artistic culture are not Bondarenko's only source of inspiration. An important place in his work is occupied by subtle variations on the author's themes, set by other masters: classics such as, for example, Mackintosh, or contemporaries like Bott. But even in this case, the result is not external stylizations of them, but rather dialogues with them.
