Author Biography
Ihor Husiev (born 1970) is a Ukrainian artist, photo and video artist, author of performances, objects, installations, poet, rock musician, curator. He graduated from the Odesa Art School named after Hrekov (1991). Leader of the "Art Raiders" movement, founder of the underground gallery "Norma". Participant of large productions and projects ("Restart", "Cosmic Odyssey", "Nezalezhni", "20 years of presence", a special project of the First Kyiv Inter-National Biennale of the Successful Mystical ARSENALE 2012 under "War Game") in Ukraine and abroad. Lives and works in Odesa.

Work from the "3 World war" series. In this series, Ihor Gusev rethinks the influence of Russian culture on himself and Ukrainian society as a whole. He works with images in old books, adding apt phrases to them, or makes new covers himself. The author also takes famous paintings of artists as the basis of some of his works. He changes or draws some details, thus turning their meaning and giving the works a new meaning.
