Author Biography
Yevhen Korshunov (born 1989) is a Ukrainian artist. Born in Brovary. Works as a painter, draftsman, video artist, land artist. Graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (2016). Works with myth-making, local history, absurdity. Participant of exhibitions at the Art Arsenal, "Ya Gallery", "Artsvit" gallery, Kharkiv Municipal Gallery, Lviv Municipal Art Center, Jam Factory Art Center, Hlibzawod. Participant of residencies: "Over God" (Vinnytsia, 2017), "Z.mist" (Mariupol, 2018), "Sorry, No Numbers" (Uzhhorod, 2019), "Coming Out of Isolation 2.0", IZOLYATSIA platform for cultural initiatives (2020 ), "Fantazers", Yasinya (2021), "Grounding" (Soledar, 2021), "Contemporary Art Rivne" (2021), land art symposium "Mogrytsia" (2017-2021). Lives and works in Kyiv.
