Yurii Pliss (born 1954) is a Ukrainian avant-garde artist, artist of dolls. Born in Odesa. Graduated from the Odesa Theater and Art College (1981). He was a member of the Beliaievo group, Moscow (1989-1994). Student of Khrushch and Sychov. Member of the International Federation of Artists of UNESCO. Participates in republican and international exhibitions. The artist's paintings are stored in the Tretyakov Gallery, museums of Finland, Austria, private collections of Ukraine, Austria, USA, Sweden, Russia and other countries.
