Brunovsky Albin (1935-1997) - Slovak artist, designer, lithographer, illustrator and teacher. Born in the Czechoslovak city of Zohor. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bratislava under the direction of Professor Vincent Khloznika (1955-1961). The most famous as illustrator of children's books. He was a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava (1966-1990), in 1981 he was appointed professor. The designer of the last series of notes of the Czechoslovak Crown. Believed to be one of the best Slovak artists of the 20th century.
