Vityk Max

Vityk Max (born 1964) is an American artist and geologist of Ukrainian origin. He was born in Lviv. Graduated from Lviv University, obtained the degree of candidate of sciences (1989). Moves to Canada, and later to the USA, where he begins to explore contemporary art. Since 1999, he has been engaged in painting. From 2005 to 2020, he lived and worked in Egypt, the Netherlands, the USA and Ukraine. Will finally move to Ukraine in 2020. Personal exhibitions were held at the Ukrainian Institute of America (New York, USA), ArtMarts gallery (Cairo, Egypt), International Art Museum (McAllen, Texas), Scope Art fair (Basel, Switzerland), Context fairs Art (New York and Miami, USA), as well as at the Art Kyiv Contemporary Fair (Kyiv, Ukraine). Participant of the Novomatic Forum (Vienna, Austria), Darb Art Center (Cairo, Egypt) and Arsenal Museum Collection (Kyiv, Ukraine) projects. Vityk's works are kept in private and museum collections around the world. Lives and works in Kyiv.
