Biography
Valerii Eisenberg (1947-2020), is a Ukrainian artist. He studied at the Kharkiv Art Institute (1973-1976). Member of the Moscow Union of Artists (1988). He founded the ESCAPE programme. More than 40 solo and 150 group exhibitions around the world. Winner of many prizes and nominations, including the Black Square (Moscow, 2003), the Kandinsky Prize (Moscow, 2008). Participated in the 51st Venice Biennale (2005). He has lived and worked in Moscow, New York and Tel Aviv.
