Biography
Khimich Myhaylo (born in 1968) - Ukrainian artist, printmaker. Studied in Kyiv Art and Industrial college (1983-1987); Kyiv Art Institute (1989-1995), printmaking faculty under Prof. A. Chebykin. Awarded for the best postgraduate thesis with Derehus Award (1999) for his linocut series «Biblical Themes». Member of the National Union of Artsis of Ukraine (since 2001). Throughout his artistic career worked with different techniques. Experiments with linocuts of large sizes and methods of hand printing (since 2018). Lives and works in Kyiv.
